The Logistics & Global Supply Chain Management department is launching the SCPro™ Supply Chain Professional program, offering seven industry-recognized certificates as a fast-track educational opportunity for micro-credentialing. This initiative supports students pursuing a college certificate or degree pathway beginning in 2025.

By aligning education with industry certification, we aim to meet the evolving workforce needs of our industry partners and support talent development across the global supply chain. As we move toward 2030, with rapid advancements in supply chain technology and innovation, we are committed to equipping our students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to thrive in this dynamic field through targeted micro-credentials.

Upon successfully passing the exam for each functional area, students are awarded the SCPro™ Fundamentals certificate from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). Those who complete all eight areas receive a comprehensive certificate from CSCMP. This educational pathway has been recognized by the Texas Education Agency as an Industry-Based Certification (IBC) since March 2024.
