Adult High School

General Information

Adult High School is a Credit Recovery program designed to assist current high school students and adults in obtaining a Texas high school diploma.

Current high school students will need a referral from their high school counselor before registering for any AHS class. This program may not be appropriate for students who plan to pursue athletics at a Division I or II college or university.

Dates to Remember

Registration Dates – All Registration will be handled electronically. Submit AHS approval and copy of high school transcript by email (ahs@hccs.edu) or fax (713.718.7708).

Spring 2019 registration ends on February 1, 2019 and classes dates are as follows:

Spring Branch Campus
Credit Recovery:
Class Meets
Fridays and Saturdays

  • 1st Period: Fri. 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
  • 2nd Period: Fri. 7:00 pm.-9:00 p.m.
  • 1st Period: Sat. 8:00 am – 10:00am
  • 2nd Period: Sat. 10:00 am. 12:00 pm
  • Final Exam: Saturday, May 11, 2019

Missouri City Campus

Cost

Tuition:

  • Recovery Credit - $175 per half-credit
  • Original Credit - $275 per half-credit

Students will need to purchase their own text book or download the e-book on to their own personal device.
