3 Steps to Plan Your Future

Step 1: Career Exploration

Access career outlook information, review educational requirements for specific fields of study and more with Career Coach.  Do you have questions?  Do you want to learn more?  Contact your Advisor to learn more about the process.

Step 2: Select a Program

HCC offers a wide variety of academic programs to meet your educational needs. Determine which program is right for you with the College and Career Planner.  Visit the HCC Online Programs page to determine which HCC programs are available online.  Do you have questions?  Do you want to learn more?  Contact your Advisor to learn more about the process.

Step 3: Develop an Academic Plan

Once you’ve officially selected a program, review the program's degree plan to plot out each course needed to accomplish your goal and organize by semester.  Students who intend to transfer to a university should review transfer guides, joint admissions programs and more at the Transfer Room.  Do you have questions?  Do you want to learn more?  Contact your HCC Online Advisor through the Ask HCC Online form to learn more about the process.
