  • School Champions in the following districts or groups will progress to their District Bee:
    • Aldine ISD, Alvin ISD, Channelview ISD, Clear Creek ISD, Crosby ISD, Cypress Fairbanks ISD Elementary, Cypress Fairbanks ISD Secondary, Deer Park ISD, Fort Bend ISD, Galena Park ISD, Goose Creek ISD, Houston ISD, Humble ISD, Katy ISD, Klein ISD, La Porte ISD, Pasadena ISD, Pearland ISD, Sheldon ISD, Spring ISD, Spring Branch ISD, Tomball ISD

  • School Champions in the following groups will progress to their County or Area Bee:
    • Archdiocese Galveston‐Houston Bee (All Catholic schools in these counties: Austin, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Harris, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Walker, Waller)
    • Brazoria County Bee (Except schools in Alvin ISD, Pearland ISD, Fort Bend ISD
    • Beaumont Area Bee (All schools in these counties: Jefferson, Liberty, Orange)
    • Lufkin Kiwanis Bee (All schools in these counties: Angelina, Houston, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby)
    • Washington County Bee (All schools in Washington County)
  • Pathway: Classroom Bee -> School Bee -> County & Area Bees -> Regional Bee @ HCC

• Online Regional Qualifier
  • School Champions in areas with no district or county/ area bee will progress to an online regional qualifier test. This group includes:
    • Charter Schools
    • Home Schools
    • Private Schools
    • All Other Public Schools not indicated in the district or county/area bee lists (e.g. Conroe ISD, Dickinson ISD, Lamar Consolidated ISD, Montgomery & Walker Counties)
  • Pathway: Classroom Bee -> School Bee -> Online Regional Qualifier -> Regional Bee @ HCC

• School Bees: Depending on the size of the school, grade‐level bees might be administered before the school bee.
• Depending on the school district, additional bees might be administered to determine the top spellers.
