Electrical Technician, OSA
This training program provides the skills, knowledge and hands-on experience required for a long-term career to be an electrician. Electricians install electrical systems in structures; including installation of wiring and other electrical components, such as circuit breaker panels, switches, and light fixtures, and they follow blueprints, the National Electrical Code® and state and local codes.
The training introduces electrical principles, terminology, tools and skills and safety required to be an electrical apprentice. Includes study of practical application of electrical systems including voltage, current, resistance and power. Compute circuit sizes needed for installation of branch circuits, feeders, and service entrance conductors according to Electrical Codes.

Upon successful completion of the program students will receive:

- OSHA 10 Certification

Overview
The Electrical Technician I & II courses are designed to train students to be an entry-level electrician. This are of study prepares students for entry-level electrician positions, including residential wiring, as well as commercial/ industrial applications. Industrial Electricity courses includes specialized courses where students work on equipment used in industry.
