HCC to host Career Pathways Day on Aug. 23

Houston Community College will host a “Change Your Life: Career Pathways Day” Thursday, August 23. The event will provide the community with an opportunity to discover how to earn a degree or certificate, learn how to start and grow a business, speak with faculty experts, receive registration assistance, and explore available career options.

The event will also provide resources from the Houston Food Bank, Houston Public Library, and Avenue CDC for those who qualify.

Additionally, HCC will share information on the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Initiative, Houston Minority Business Development Agency, HCC Business Center of Excellence and Texas Workforce Commission training opportunities for current and future entrepreneurs.
