Patricia Jensvold, MEd, LPC-S, NCC
Patricia (Pat) Jensvold has been a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) for over 30 years. She is credentialed as an approved LPC supervisor and has national certifications as an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH). She has additional certifications in anger resolution, grief and bereavement facilitation, career development, and wellness coaching. Pat earned her Master’s Degree in Education in counseling psychology from the University of Houston. As the counselor for HCC Online students since 2014, Pat has provided counseling resources and support for the students who are only enrolled in online classes. Her extensive background with diverse cultures and people in multiple states within the United States and other countries provides perspective to assist the diverse student body at HCC. She has worked in a variety of areas, including business, logistics, U.S. Air Force military service, counseling, teaching, and educational administration. Additionally, she has been recognized for volunteer work, having volunteered in several service organizations, including disaster mental health. She cares deeply about assisting students to overcome barriers so they can pursue their educational and personal goals successfully.
