HCC Covid-19 Screening

Everyone who comes to an HCC campus is required to follow all safety protocols, which include completing individual screenings each day they plan to come to one of our locations. The screening process has two steps, which are described below.


Step 1: HCC COVID-19 Pre-Screening

Everyone must fill out a pre-screening questionnaire called the HCC COVID-19 Pre-Screening. This must be completed the day you plan to come to campus, but before you arrive at HCC (unless you are a visitor).

  • Students in certain courses and all faculty and staff, are registered in the HCC COVID-19 Pre-Screening system and will receive an email every day with their unique link to complete the questionnaire prior to arriving at an HCC location. These emails will go to their HCC email addresses.
  • Students that are not enrolled in the system, but who make an appointment to come on campus and meet with Student Services will use a visitor link to complete the pre-screening questionnaire. This link will be sent in the confirmation email students receive after booking an appointment and must be completed prior to arriving at an HCC location.
  • Visitors, contracted employees and vendors will complete the pre-screening questionnaire using a link provided when they arrive at an HCC location.


If an individual passes the pre-screening, they will see a green results screen that includes a QR code which must be shown when they arrive at HCC. To be safe, take a screenshot/picture of this results page so you can easily pull it up when you get to the campus screening station.


Step 2: Arrive on Campus & Report to Screening Station

When you get to campus, go to the screening station where you will show your pre-screening results page (or complete the pre-screening if you haven’t already) and get your temperature checked. If you pass the temperature screening, you will receive a wristband and be granted access to the building.

Allow extra time to complete your screening when you arrive on campus (come 10-15 minutes early).
