Recurring Events
A. Multi-day or multi-session events
Use this format for events that span multiple days and include separate sessions or variations (e.g., Part 1 and Part 2, or morning and evening schedules).
If events within this range have different times, registration links, or variations, create separate sub-events for each variation within the same component.
Example:
A multi-day event (April 27 - 29) may also include different activities and time slots each day:
April 27: Subevent 1 - 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
April 28: Subevent 2 - 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
April 29: Subevent 3 - 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.- Start Date: April 27, 2026, 11:00 a.m. (the starting time of the first subevents)
- End Date: April 29, 2026, 2:00 p.m. (the ending time of the last subevents).
- Recurs: Select Never

B. Regularly Recurring Events
Use this format for the same event that repeats on a regular schedule, such as weekly, monthly, or quarterly. You can create one event and duplicate it for future occurrences.
-
After creating an event, hit save as draft.
-
Locate that specific event in your section. Click the Actions button for the event and select Duplicate.
-
When prompted, choose the same college section in the Events Pending Approval from Editor folder as the destination.
-
Navigate to the same section and locate the duplicated event.
-
Open the component and update the date and time as needed.
- Once you are finished editing, click Save Changes. The event will then be sent to the Web Content Editor’s queue for approval.
This is how the event will appear on the live page.
