Dr. Ngang, who serves as a professor and researcher in HCC's cybersecurity program, was invited to work with the Higher Institute of Applied Studies in Humanities and Communication through the U.S. Department of State's Fulbright Specialist Program.
Fulbright Specialists are selected for academic and professional expertise and matched with institutions around the world seeking expertise in specific fields.
"This school in Tunisia found me, liked my profile, and the U.S. Embassy in Tunisia coordinated the connection," Dr. Ngang said of the month-long visit.
During the Tunisian visit, the professor collaborated with faculty, staff and students, sharing knowledge and exchanging ideas related to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and higher education.
