Multidisciplinary Studies - Studio Art Major
The Multidisciplinary Studies in Studio Art award prepares students for transfer to four-year institutions to complete a baccalaureate degree in art. Studio Art and Art History is the study of visual art and culture. The curriculum focuses on the examination and creation of visual artworks that are informed by wide-ranging concerns, including the formal elements of art and principles of design, technological and social issues and personal expression.

Multidisciplinary Studies - Studio Art Major, A.A.
The Multidisciplinary Studies - Studio Art Major track is intended for students who wish to transfer to 4-year programs in Studio Art or related disciplines. Some specialty visual arts colleges such as Kansas City Art Institute, Savannah College of Art and Design, etc., might require freshman or sophomore coursework specific to specialized programs at their schools. Students interested in an Art History major will require additional art history and language courses.
