Talents or Hobbies, or Something People Don’t Know About You
I enjoy anime, learning new things, and finding ways to encourage and help the people around me. Something people may not know is that I care deeply about the impact I leave on others and the legacy I am building.

Why did you enroll at HCC Coleman College?
I enrolled at HCC Coleman College because I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare while learning in an environment focused specifically on health sciences. Coleman gave me the opportunity to build my skills while also becoming more involved in my college community.

Why did you choose your program of study?
I chose Anesthesia Technology because I wanted a career where I could combine healthcare, technology, teamwork, and patient care. I was drawn to the important role anesthesia technologists play behind the scenes in helping surgical teams provide safe and effective care.

What do you like best about your college experience?
What I enjoy most is the opportunity to grow beyond the classroom. HCC has allowed me to meet people from different backgrounds, develop as a leader, and discover more about the person and professional I want to become.

What do you like best about your program of study?
I enjoy learning how the different pieces of anesthesia and surgical care come together. The hands-on nature of the program makes what I am learning feel meaningful and reminds me that the work I am preparing for can directly impact someone’s life.

When you are tired, what motivates you to push forward?
My biggest motivation is knowing that I am building a future that is bigger than just myself. I want my journey to leave a positive impact on the people I meet and show others that difficult seasons do not have to determine where you end up.

What advice can you offer to help other students succeed?
Give yourself permission to grow, but never give yourself permission to quit on yourself. Stay consistent, ask for help when you need it, get involved, and remember that one difficult semester or setback does not define your entire journey.

Any final thoughts?
I am grateful for the opportunities HCC Coleman College has given me to grow academically, professionally, and personally. I hope my journey can inspire other students to believe in themselves, get involved, and think about the legacy they want to leave behind.
