Talents or Hobbies, or Something People Don’t Know About You 
A few of my hobbies include going to the gym, painting, and reading. Something people may not know about me is that I've been skydiving twice. 
 
Why did you enroll at HCC Coleman College? 
I enrolled at HCC Coleman College because of its outstanding reputation for producing highly skilled healthcare professionals and its strong clinical partnerships throughout the Texas Medical Center. 
 
Why did you choose your program of study? 
The Diagnostic Medical Sonography’s high certification pass rates, excellent job placement outcomes, and affordable tuition made it the ideal choice for my education. 
 
After receiving my associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography here at HCC Coleman College, it was a quick decision to enroll for my bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management. I hope to someday open my own clinic in the near future. The BAS program is 100% online, so I’ll be able to complete it as I work as a sonographer. 
 
What do you like best about your college experience? 
I liked the supportive learning environment and the opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience alongside experienced healthcare professionals. 
 
I also appreciated the opportunities to grow as a leader through my involvement in the Student Government Association and the United Student Council. These experiences have strengthened my confidence, expanded my professional network, and prepared me for a successful career in healthcare. 
 
What do you like best about your program of study? 
What I liked most about the sonography program is how every day presented an opportunity to apply what I learned, as well as knowing I had clinical experience prior to graduating. The program challenged me to grow both technically and professionally and prepared me to provide high-quality patient care. 
 
For the BAS program, I like the affordable HCC price and the online flexibility so I can work as I continue my education. 
 
When you are tired, what motivates you to push forward? 
When I felt tired or challenged, I reminded myself why I started this journey and the impact I hope to make as a healthcare professional. I also drew inspiration from the goals I set for myself and the support of my family, mentors, and classmates who encouraged me throughout the program. 
 
What advice can you offer to help other students succeed? 
My advice to other students is to stay consistent, ask for help when you need it, and never be afraid to take advantage of the resources your college provides. Get involved outside the classroom through leadership opportunities, tutoring, or student organizations, because those experiences help you grow both personally and professionally. 
 
Most importantly, believe in yourself, stay focused on your goals, and remember that persistence and hard work will always pay off.

Stay true to yourself. Keep going! It’s all worth it.
