I’m a hairstylist/barber and a musician/singer. I know also how to draw and tumble!
Why did you enroll at HCC Coleman College?
I enrolled at HCC Coleman because I heard great things about the nursing program through people I knew who graduated from it. HCC Coleman produces great nurses!
Why did you choose your program of study?
I went to school in 2006 for nursing but dropped out. However, the passion never left, and now I’m about to graduate as a registered nurse!
What do you like best about your college experience?
I love learning about what I’m passionate about. Although it can be a lot, I’m grateful for the journey!
What do you like best about your program of study?
I love caring for people, and nursing gives me the opportunity to do that and more!
When you are tired, what motivates you to push forward?
My vision/goals motivate me to move forward even when I’m tired. I see myself as a successful nurse working in a major hospital.
What advice can you offer to help other students succeed?
You have to be gritty and hungry for what you want in life. Nothing of worth comes easy! Do your best and persevere through every challenge!
