New Online Associate of Science in Engineering Science Launching Fall 2026

We are excited to introduce the Online Associate of Science in Engineering Science (ASES)—an online‑anytime degree designed to give students a flexible pathway into high‑demand engineering fields. 

This fully online program allows students to complete the first two years of a four‑year engineering degree at HCC before transferring to the university of their choice. Students can earn 60 credit hours in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, all structured to ensure a smooth transfer experience. 

The Online ASES is ideal for anyone interested in earning an engineering associate degree without traveling to campus. We are pleased to launch this program beginning Fall 2026. Interested students are encouraged to email hcc.engineering@hccs.edu for more information. The application deadline is July 10, 2026, at noon. 

Program Requirements: 

• Placement at MATH 2413 – Calculus I level
• SAT Math 620+ or ACT Math 27+
• Full‑time enrollment each semester (minimum 12 credit hours)
• Completion of all required courses online with a consistent cohort
