Logistics & Global Supply Chain Management - General, A.A.S.

Associate of Applied Science (AAS)
Education track: Workforce Training

The AAS in Logistics and Global Supply Chain Management provides students with the knowledge and abilities to apply individual technical skills necessary to pursue a career in areas such as exporting/importing, materials handling, global transportation, warehouse and distribution center management, purchasing management, and traffic management. 

Students may earn one Associate of Applied Science in one of two specializations (Logistics & Global Supply Chain Management - General, A.A.S. or Logistics & Global Supply Chain Management - Maritime Transportation Logistics - Specialization, A.A.S.) by completing the requirements for the chosen specialization.

Students may earn one Certificate Level 1 along with the Associate of Applied Science specialization by completing the certificate requirements.

TSI testing required prior to first enrollment for all AAS degrees and Level II certificates.

Students will be able to:

  • Explain logistics/supply chain terms. Explain the total supply chain management and function in distribution.

  • Demonstrate understanding of technological factors of logistics in international trade.

  • Apply forecasting techniques to various facets of supply chain management.

  • Solve transportation problems utilizing knowledge of world geography and the transportation system.

The Logistics & Global Supply Chain Management program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
