The Business Management program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s dynamic and competitive business environment. Through a practical and career-focused curriculum, students learn core principles of management, leadership, finance, marketing, and organizational operations.

The Digital Communication programs at Houston City College prepare students to create and produce visual content across today’s digital media landscape. Students develop skills in design, photography, writing, editing, and multimedia production for web, social media, mobile, immersive, and print platforms.

Houston City College’s Filmmaking Program prepares students for exciting careers in media and film production. You’ll build hands-on skills in every major area of filmmaking—including screenwriting, producing, directing, cinematography, editing, and sound—while learning how to bring a story to life from start to finish. From developing your idea in pre-production, to filming on set, to editing and sharing your final project with an audience, you’ll gain real-world experience in every phase of the filmmaking process.

The Insurance Specialist program area introduces students to business loss exposures and the operation of insurance policies related to property, business income, crime, marine, auto, and government programs. Students develop foundational knowledge of insurance concepts and may be prepared to take the licensing exam sponsored by the Department of Insurance.

The Paralegal Technology program at Houston City College prepares students to support attorneys, courts, and legal organizations through research, document drafting, investigation, and administrative case management. Coursework covers legal research, pleadings, law office procedures, courthouse processes, and specialized areas of law, equipping graduates with the skills needed for entry-level paralegal roles.
