At 45, Roshell Brisby decided her time had finally come. A single mother of four adult children, she had spent years putting her own education on hold while raising her family and working. In 2018, she earned her GED and immediately started an associate degree program at HCC, determined to build a new career path for herself.​

The HCC law enforcement training program has built a reputation for transforming motivated students into capable, ethical peace officers — and doing so with remarkable consistency. 

Jason Loring chose to pursue his education in Manufacturing Engineering Technology at Houston City College where he felt a sense of fellowship and camaraderie with both his instructors and advisors.

Kalika Hocking chose Coleman because of its outstanding board exam pass rates, its excellent reputation, and its location in the Texas Medical Center with all the opportunities it offers.
