Copilot works inside the Microsoft programs you already use, rather than in a separate window. Everyone at HCC has it. There is also an upgraded version that departments can buy.
Two versions

If you are not sure which you have, look for Copilot inside Word or Outlook. If it is there, your department has Premium.
How to sign in
- Go to m365.cloud.microsoft/chat and sign in with your HCC account.
- If your department has Premium, Copilot also appears inside Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Departments wanting to purchase Premium licenses should contact the IT Service Desk.
Microsoft is consolidating its Copilot apps, and the web address is moving to copilot.cloud.microsoft. The link above will redirect.
What Premium does inside each program

The ability to look through your own emails, files, and meetings is what Premium adds. Standard does not have it.
What to keep out
Copilot Premium can only see files and messages you already have access to. That does not mean everything you can open is fine to run through it.
If your work involves student records, employee records, or health information, ask IT before using Copilot on them.
One confusing thing
Microsoft uses the name Copilot for several different products. The version that appears when you search the web, or click Copilot in Windows without signing in, is the free public one. It is not covered by the HCC agreement.
Make sure you are signed in with your HCC account. That is what puts you on the HCC version.
