CELEBRATING THE ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT

MEET THE ALUMNI:

NANCY GARCIA, NOBLE MACHINE, LLC

WHY DID YOU APPLY TO THE PROGRAM?
I believe that growth within oneself equals growth for our internal and external customers. I knew I had to get out of my comfort zone to implement the growth opportunities I saw for my business.

WHAT GROWTH HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED SINCE GRADUATING?
Last year was one of our biggest growth in multiple areas of our business. Our team is even more focused, sales increased, and we tapped into the electronics industry. Honestly, we had the astounding challenge of doing everything to keep up with the demand. Essentially, we created our own competition, we gained much more experience. My company as a result has grown 66% in revenue since I’ve graduated.

HOW ARE YOU STAYING ON TOP OF YOUR FAST GROWTH?
My husband/business partner, Julio Garcia, and I look at our financials multiple times a week. We make sure to communicate with each other, with him focusing overseeing production and I on the finances and operations. We communicate with the team on the company’s growth progression; hence, I strongly believe therefore our team takes care of the business as if it were their own. It is this culture that continues to nurture the growth of Noble Machine, LLC.

HOW HAVE YOU, AS A LEADER, GROWN?
Emphasis on the company vision continues to provide growth in my team and me as a person. I work closely the office team; they are incredibly supportive and amazing of taking over any task or project on their own. The team has realized that the less they see me in the office, the better. If you see me in the office, it means you need me, so I’ve gradually empowered my team to work in the business on their own so I can focus working on the business.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHER SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS PREPARING FOR GROWTH?
Processes and procedures are a must, put them in place, put them in writing, and use them. There is always room for improvement, always remain coachable. We continue to look for more machine programmers and operators to hire. Establishing processes and procedures has allowed us to create and execute trainings to ensure qualified team members continue to fuel the growth of the business.
