Student Life is here to help students get the most out of their experiences at college. With Student Life, students can get involved in student clubs or organizations, experience different leadership opportunities, participate in community service projects, network, travel and so much more.
Student Life brings programs, activities, and events on campus which foster diverse learning and development outside of the classroom.
Student Life is committed to student learning and the development of the whole student in a diverse campus community. Through our programs, services, facilities, and partnerships, we facilitate students' transformation and enrich their education.
Each student at HCC helps to support student activity programming by paying $1 per credit hour enrolled each semester. Your fee dollars are put to great use by each Student Life Office to provide leadership opportunities, guest speakers, awareness weeks, fun activities, and so much more.

Southwest College host Student Awards Banquet
Southwest College hosted its Student Awards Banquet on Thursday, April 25 in recognition of student's achievement at Southwest College for the 2018-2019 Academic year. HCC Associate Dean of Student Engagement, Afrah Hassan Fatimah, the Student Life Coordinator, and Student Life District Liaison, Regina Wilson, with Instructors and Advisors presented students with awards.
