Board of Trustees
HCC’s Board of Trustees represents the citizens of HCC’s taxing district. There are nine singlemember districts. Trustees are elected for six year terms with elections held on a 2-year rotating basis. There are no term limits. The district boundaries are legally determined. The most recent re-districting occurred in 2015 based on the annexation of Alief and North Forest Independent School Districts. New officers are elected annually by the members of the Board of Trustees. The three offices include Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary.
