Paralegal Technology - Legal Assistant - General - Certificate Level 1

The Legal Assistant certificate allows a student to work in a law office or corporation as an assistant to an attorney or a trained paralegal. It consists of 30 semester hours which provides adequate training in the skills necessary to be a trained Legal Assistant.

Capstone Statement

A capstone course is a course designed to provide opportunities for students to integrate knowledge from their core and concentration courses, to gain insight into the meanings of professionalism and professional practice, and to reflect on the norms of a discipline or profession.
