Visitors at the Houston Community College West Loop Campus Art Gallery recently took a walk down memory lane to see nearly two decades of artwork by HCC Fine Arts professor Michael Golden. Golden is retiring from HCC after 25 years.

Hundreds of excited spectators lined the street to watch the parade as representatives from HCC, along with other businesses and community organizations, walked along the route handing out various giveaways. Marching bands provided patriotic music fit for the occasion. HCC is a longtime supporter of this parade and uses the event as a way to say “thank you” to those who fought and continue to fight for our country’s freedom.
