Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leadership Council
The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is proud to announce The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Leadership Council which seeks to promote DEI initiatives and programs that further the College's stated commitment to DEI. The Council will be charged with the following:
- Provide monthly status updates on internal DEI initiatives within a unit or campus;
- Report ideas, concerns, and suggestions to develop system DEI goals;
- Identify areas of collaboration through a cross-section or function of the System;
- Provide recommendations to develop system practices or protocols that facilitate an enhanced level of DEI awareness;
- Review and provide feedback of the DEI Strategic Action Plan draft; and
- Forecast potential challenges or actionable areas of improvement.
Dr. Darin LaMar Baskin, Interim DEI Officer, is the Council lead and primary contact. The College community is encouraged to participate in discussions around DEI with Dr. Darin Baskin and/or the representatives listed below:
