In Honor of Black History Month, HCC Student Life is hosting an “Black Excellence Expressed” contest where students can show off their talents and creativity through poetry, songs, and visual arts. Students are encouraged to participate by uploading and submitting a video of themselves reciting their original poem or song. Students interested in submitting original artwork must submit a JPG. or PNG. file of their work by the deadline February 20, 2024 at 5 pm. The top five submissions will receive a $100 gift card.
