Teaching and Learning Effectiveness

A strategic goal of HCC is to provide for improved teaching that results in supporting students in achieving their fullest potential. The TLE Program is a professional development program that supports HCC faculty in enhancing their teaching practices. A major project of the TLE Program is the new Certificate in Teaching and Learning Effectiveness (CTLE), a curriculum that offers faculty opportunities to examine the latest research concerning teaching and learning. In addition, the CTLE peer-to-peer interaction is proving to be a valued resource of encouragement and refreshment for HCC faculty.
