CLEP: Description and Cost
Cost: $77 test fee plus $12 service fee = $89 total
The College-Level Examination Program® or CLEP provides students of any age with the opportunity to demonstrate college-level achievement through a program of exams in undergraduate college courses.
The CLEP test is administered at the HCC Central, Northwest, and Northeast Colleges.
Special accommodations are available for those that qualify.
Students must submit an application for admission to HCC prior to testing.

Note: Students who would like for their qualifying CLEP scores to be accepted at Houston Community College should first meet with a counselor or advisor to determine which CLEP test should be taken and to review HCC's policy regarding the awarding and posting of CLEP credit.
