Private Scholarships
Private scholarships are donor's that specifies the person who will receive the funding. The donor may be the student's employer, church, or the scholarship may be funded through a separate private program.
Internal Scholarships
At Houston Community College, internal scholarships are offered through a variety of sources and have verify eligibility criteria. The internal scholarships are available through the HCCS Foundation. Once the student has completed the application process, the student will be considered for all scholarships offered through the HCCS Foundation.
HCCS Foundation
The Houston Community College System Foundation supports Houston Community College in its efforts to attract and educate Houston-area students with the desire and the dedication to learn - including many non-traditional students and those facing barriers to higher education. AmeriCorps
This program provides full-time educational awards in return for community service work. You can work before, during or after your post-secondary education, and you can use the funds either to pay current educational expenses or to repay federal student loans.
