TLR Staff Major Duties

Terri Bubb

Consults with faculty concerning instructional design issues to achieve a learner-centered experience for students
Explores methods to support course design and delivery, including new strategies and technologies
Designs and develops online training for faculty
Assess current faculty training to revise as needed
Monitors and disseminates course design success to the internal and external learning community
Markets TLR services

Jose (Tony) Davila

Serves as District Sr. System Administrator level of two LMS system Blackboard Vista/Eagle Online, WebEx sites for Faculty and Staff, and six servers in the HCC Data Center
Provides training for Eagle Online College Technical Administrators in the use of the LMS Moodle and strategies on how to help faculty
Teaches instructional technology training classes to prepare faculty to integrate technologies into their learner out comes

Eric Hunt

Coordinates TLE program; provides leadership to TLE-Faculty Development Coordinators at the colleges.
Trains faculty and staff in Eagle Online and instructional technology professional development
Maintains faculty development workshops for online delivery, instructional seminars, and administrative events
Designs promotional materials (i.e.: certificates, programs, brochures, flyers, posters, banners) in support of TLR programs & events

Wendy Maboudian

Jawad Mirza

Monitors, updates, troubleshoots, configures, backup and restores TLR network clients and servers
Facilitates staff and faculty computer training needs in TLR training labs and workstations
Creates and maintains List-serves for various groups, colleges, organizations, and committees
Provides technical assistance to HCC faculty and TLR staff on issues related to LMSs as a backup administrator

Fran Trice

Serves as Sr. System Administrator for 7 TLR/IMC database and web servers
Works with Instructional Support division administrators to manage, create and maintain division’s internal and external websites
Represents Instructional Support division on Web Crew 2 committee
Develops documentation and teaches technology training classes to HCC faculty and staff
Coordinates training, creates documentation and teaches Vignette (HCC cms), to faculty and staff and administrators

Don White

Records video and audio for administration, faculty and staff
Edits audio/video footage (includes other audiovisual post-production duties -- color grading, audio sweetening and equalization, DVD authoring.)
Encodes finished audio/video files for web delivery and administration of the college's iTunes U site (includes creation and maintenance of user accounts
Conducts training courses for faculty/staff
