Institute for Management Studies - Houston
HCC Employee Learning & Organizational Development (ELOD) is pleased to announce an exciting new leadership development opportunity for CLP and LEI participants and graduates. Through a partnership with the Center for Teaching & Learning Excellence (CTLE) HCC is now a member of the Institute for Management Studies (IMS) Houston. IMS Houston provides local, one-day, relevant educational experiences for middle to senior level managers. In existence for over 35 years, IMS Houston provides relevant, high impact and convenient learning experiences designed to enhance the value of managers and their organizations.
HCC administrators and executives who have attended IMS Seminars give IMS Houston rave reviews. Open only to member companies, subject matter and faculty are tailored to meet local needs. Each seminar provides an opportunity to interact with peers from major organizations in the Houston area. Every IMS course description indicates the target audience, assuring proper attendee selection and mix, while limiting audience size to enhance developmental impact.
Rather than incurring the time and expense of travel for learning opportunities, IMS seminars are held in the Houston area at the reasonable registration fee of $325. IMS Houston’s highly respected and renowned faculty includes management executives, consultants and professionals who are leaders in their fields. Upcoming seminars include:
¨ The One-Day MBA – Tools for Making Better Decisions, facilitated by Dr. Noah Barsky,
¨ Influence and Action – The Essence of Effective Leadership, facilitated by Dr. Robert Bies, and
¨ How to Get the Most from Teams – Overcoming the Inevitable Conflicts, facilitated by Dr. Judith Segal
