  • College Leadership Program
The HCC College Leadership Program (CLP) is a 76-hour certificate program consisting of core and elective coursework, coaching, supervisory guidance, and personal development components. The CLP, which takes approximately one year to complete, enhances the effectiveness of HCC managers, supervisors, administrators and department chairs. The CLP is required for all new supervisors, whether new to supervision or new to HCC and is encouraged for other supervisors as a refresher. Enrollment in the CLP is by application, accepted twice per year by the Employee Learning and Organizational Development (ELOD) Department.
  • Leadership Excellence Institute
The HCC Leadership Excellence Institute (LEI), held annually, prepares participants for possible future executive leadership (dean, executive director & above) roles. Cohorts selected using a nomination process learn from a team of nationally recognized and local faculty and administrators in a series of engaging retreats and day sessions. The learning experience is augmented by individual study, mentoring by executive HCC leaders, and completion of strategic group projects.
