Instructional Media Center (IMC)

IMC Training The Instructional Media Center (IMC) is a unit of the Department of Teaching and Learning Resources (TLR). The TLR staff works with faculty to teach them how to incorporate technology into their curriculum. As a unit of TLR, IMC accomplishes this through faculty and staff training classes, the Instructional Technology Program (CIT), one on one DE course development, and special project requests.

HCC's Board of Trustees recently approved the purchase of a new Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle (joule) for use beginning 2011. The system has been generically named Eagle Online for HCC. Blackboard Vista will remain active through December 2011.

Training Labs
The Instructional Media Center (IMC) manages two System training labs in the basement of the 3100 Main Building that are available for HCC staff training/meetings. The labs are available by reservation Monday through Friday.
