HCC Strategic Goals/Strategies
The Center for TLE supports HCC’s goal to help students achieve their fullest potential through innovative course delivery, teaching practices, and instructional support services. For that reason, the work of Center for TLE is aligned with the following strategies as defined in HCC's Strategic Plan 2008-11:
- To support faculty and student programs and activities in pursuit and achievement of teaching and learning excellence
- To institutionalize the Achieving the Dream strategies to improve rates of student persistence and successful completion of courses
Mission
HCC Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence seeks to serve as the premiere training and support organization for faculty professional development and instructional design support which results in producing an excellent teacher in every classroom to ensure student success.
