About Academic Programs

An Academic "program" is defined by the subject content, e.g. English, History, Government, Sociology, Mathematics, etc. These courses are intended for students planning on transferring to a senior college or university to receive a baccalaureate degree. HCC has transfer plans for specific majors and for specific universities.
