Workplace English Classes
Houston Community College is pleased to have developed Workplace English curricula necessary to facilitate the enrollment of students who are English Language Learners into the college's technical or skills training programs. The curriculum areas identified for development were chosen from HCC training programs in high-demand and are as follows:
- Work place English for Welding Technicians
- Work place English for Automotive Technicians
- Work place English for Drawing and Drafting
- Work place English for House Wiring
- Work place English for Computer Support Specialists
- Work place English for Air Conditioning Technicians
- Work place English for Cosmetology
- Work place English for Industry Safety
- Workplace English for Certified Nurse Aides
