SAP Configuration Training

The SAP Configuration Training Program provides training in SAP Software including configuration of the modules covered in class. Classes are geared for the professional using SAP in their own work environment, during an implementation, upgrade, or maintenance, or through consulting work. SAP version 6.0 is used in class. Classes cover information required for varies SAP certification exams. A Houston Community College Marketable Skills Award is obtained by taking any three of the offered classes. A student’s technical background determines his/her starting point in the program with an end user class provided to help bridge gaps in prior training or experience. New classes are being reviewed, developed, and added to the curriculum as workforce needs become more apparent. Any three classes within the SAP curriculum totaling 144 hours will earn a Marketable Skills Award.

Licensure/Certification:  SAP Consultant Certification Financials Financial Accounting with my SAP ERP 2005, SAP User Certification

Length of Certificate:  144 hours, each class is 48 hours long. Depending on class availability, Marketable Skills Award could be completed in 1 term, 2 terms may be the norm.

Prerequisites:  Computer literacy is essential. You should understand the purpose of a large scale, enterprise-wide systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, SUN or HP. You should also know the basic functions of applications and Information Technology. Having experience in programming, system architecture or database systems, such as Access, will help you understand the concepts and classroom material. If you have not taken any higher level computer classes prior to this SAP program, it is highly recommended that you take SAP End User Training before any other SAP classes.

  • ITSE 1091, SAP Logistics Training with Materials Management and Production Planning
  • ITSE 1091, SAP Production Planning Training
  • ISTY 1091, SAP Security Training
  • ISTY 1091, SAP Security Training Advance

Total 288 hours
