Houston Community College offers the courses needed to take the Texas Salesperson's license. For information on this program, contact the HCC Missouri City Campus at 713.718.5229.  You can also take the Real Estate M.C.E. Update to renew your license.

Real Estate License Requirements

SALESPERSON LICENSE: (requires 210 classroom hours)

• RELE 1001 Principles of Real Estate (48 hrs.) = 6 wks
• RELE 1038 Principles of Real Estate II (48 hrs.) = 6 wks
• RELE 1012 Real Estate Contracts (48 hrs.) = 6 wks
• RELE 2001 Law of Agency (48 hrs.) = 6 wks
• RELE x0xx Choose any core Real Estate Course (48 hrs.) = 6wks

               RELE 1020 Real Estate Finance = (48 hrs)
               RELE 1007 Real Estate Investment = (48 hrs)
               RELE 1022 Real Estate Marketing = (48 hrs)
               RELE 1025 Real Estate Math = (48 hrs)
               RELE 1003 Real Estate Appraisal

LOAN OFFICERS LICENSE: (43 Classroom hrs. of core and CE 2 Classroom Hours of Ethics)

Loan Processors do not need a license to process loans.
