Quality Control
HCC shall notify the contractor of housekeeping tasks that are not being performed in a satisfactory manner, as specified in the contract. In the event of such notification, the contractor shall take all necessary steps to correct non-performance or unsatisfactory performance within one business day of operation after notification of nonperformance or for a mutually agreed upon extended period of time if pre-approved by the director of building operations.

 


Uniforms
All contractor employees shall be uniformed properly and be neat and clean in their appearance. All employee uniforms shall be of the same design and color. The supervisor’s uniform shall be of the same design but may be of a different color to distinguish him/her from the custodial staff. All uniforms must include a name tag or other markings with the name of the contractor attached thereto.

 


Requirements

The contractor shall perform window cleaning services at the facilities listed herein as follows:

 

HCC Administration Building
3100 Main Street

Schedule/Tasks

    • Clean the windows (interior and exterior) on the first floor of 3220 Main parking garage.
    • Clean the windows (interior and exterior) on the first and second floor of 3100 Main, including the spandrels and exterior vents.
    • Clean the windows (interior and exterior) on the walk-way bridge between the Administration Building and the parking garage. Clean the Columbia blue-colored glass (exterior) above and beneath the windows on the walk-way bridge (weekend only). Schedule: Quarterly (first week of January, April, July and October)
    • Clean the windows (interior and exterior) on the third through twelfth floors.
    • Clean the smoked glass panel directly beneath the windows on the second through twelfth floors.
    • Clean exterior columns of the building and exhaust vents. Columns extend from ground to second floor around perimeter of the building.
