COPA

Welcome to the landing page for the College Office Professionals Association (COPA). We would like to introduce you to this dynamic organization and hope that as you navigate through our website and learn more about COPA, you will decide to become a member.

The College Office Professionals Association is a non-profit professional association whose membership represents a cross-section of non-faculty support staff employed by the Houston Community College System (HCCS). The COPA President represents this segment of employees by serving as a member of the Chancellor’s Executive Team, the System Compensation Committee, the Human Resources Advisory Board, and various other System committees as assigned by the HCCS Administration. The COPA President also attends the HCCS Committee of the Whole Meetings and the HCCS Board Meetings.


COPA is affiliated with Texas Educational Support Staff Association (TESA) and National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP). The College Office Professionals Association provides a vehicle through which educational office professionals can network, obtain professional development through classes and workshops, apply for COPA-sponsored scholarships, and serve the community through benevolent projects.
