Accounting Fundamentals I | CEC | 7590

In this course you will learn the basics of double-entry bookkeeping, how to analyze and record financial transactions, as well as prepare various financial reports at the end of the fiscal period. Focus on concepts and their application in transaction analysis and financial statement preparation including analysis of financial statements and asset and equity accounting in proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations. Accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll procedures, sales taxes, and various common banking activities will be discussed.
