Disbursements occur when HCC receives federal, state, or other funds on your behalf. These funds are disbursed to your student account to cover your tuition, fees, and Bookstore charges (grants and scholarships only). Disbursements are applied to your student account after all enrollment and eligibility requirements have been confirmed. Excess funds are refunded to your HCC Eagle Card approximately 14 days after disbursement.
All loans are disbursed in two payments, even if the loan is for one semester. If your loan is for fall and spring, you will receive one half of the loan of each semester, approximately 30 days after enrollment of final start date (including mini-sessions and late start sessions). If your loan is for one semester only, you will receive two payments within that semester.
