Responsible Department: Human Resources
Date Approved/Amended: December 2, 2010

Members of the faculty, administration, or staff shall not be denied access to College facilities or campus activities solely on the grounds that they have a communicable disease.  The College reserves the right to exclude or restrict a person with a communicable disease from its facilities, programs, and functions, or take appropriate employment action, if the College makes a medically based determination that the person constitutes a direct threat to the health or safety of others, or if by reason of the communicable disease or infection, the person is unable to perform the duties of the job.
