B.1.1.1 Financial Ethics

As public servants, all HCC employees are required to maintain the highest ethical standards and shall perform their duties in accordance with HCC finance policies and state and federal law. HCC employees are prohibited from engaging in any activities that constitute the offenses of bribery, corruption, corrupt influence, perjury, abuse of office, and other offenses against administration.

B.1.1.2 Fiscal Accountability

All HCC funds and resources shall be used for institutional purposes. Improper use of institutional funds and resources, including but not limited to unauthorized or personal use or abuse of timekeeping and time entry, shall not be tolerated. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law; employees shall also be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
