HCC art students showcase work at Eastside Campus

"Normal is Boring", an art exhibition at the Houston Community College Eastside Learning Hub Gallery, consists of works by 80 students enrolled in studio art classes. The showcase features a variety of media expressing the students’ energy, sensitivity, humor, and intelligence.

HCC testifies on Capitol Hill about offshore energy program

The RigOne program at Houston Community College (HCC) was a topic of discussion during a hearing regarding the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF). This is the first time in the past decade a representative from HCC has testified on Capitol Hill.

Announcement of Summer Internships at Department of Energy Labs for Community College Students

The Community College Internship (CCI) program seeks to encourage community college students to enter technical careers relevant to the DOE mission by providing technical training experiences at the DOE laboratories. Selected students participate as interns appointed at one of 15 participating DOE laboratories.
