Regular meetings of the Board of Trustees are held on the third (3rd) Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. at the System Administrative Building, 3100 Main, 2nd Floor Auditorium Boardroom, Houston, Texas 77002, unless otherwise announced. Other meetings such as committees, workshops and special meetings are held on an as-needed basis. Public notices of all meetings are posted at the Administrative Building, the Harris County Courthouse and on this web-site. Citizens have the opportunity to voice concerns or request information from the Board of Trustees during the “Hearing of Citizens” portion of the meeting. To participate in this forum, an individual must complete and submit a Request for Appearance form to the Board Services Office 24 hours prior to the meeting. Forms may be obtained by calling the Board Services office 713.718.8398.
Presentations are limited to four (4) minutes. No personalities or personnel may be mentioned in the address. The Board and administration will not respond at the meeting but will conduct a follow-up and provide a response if appropriate.
